OKI’s newest printer for the packaging market is the OKI Pro9541dn. This device offers packaging designers the flexibility of printing short runs and concept designs in-house. As a result, they can quickly review and revise their work, getting it just right before the more expensive litho print process. This means the printer is also perfect for bespoke orders and personalised designs.
These advances are now possible because the OKI Pro9541dn enables the full range of process colours using CMYK, plus an additional fifth spot colour in either white or clear gloss or solid white on a coloured background. This overcomes the challenge of printing solid, crisp white on a range of backgrounds and media, without the costly and lengthy process of screen printing.
The OKI Pro9541dn enables the reproduction of stunning colours on darker media by printing on a white background and then overlaying your colour design – or creating window graphics on clear vinyl through the same process. It also provides an economic way to apply a clear gloss finish to short run printing. As a fifth colour option you can print in four colours and then add a spot clear gloss finish in one pass, quickly and on an extensive range of media up to 360gsm – ideal for point of sale materials, business cards and brochures.
Although the OKI Pro9541dn is affordable with many factors coming together to ensure a low cost of ownership, this doesn’t mean sacrificing print quality. OKI has brought together its latest technology to produce the sharpest and most vibrant print output available on the market today.
