Yamato Scale Dataweigh UK said that at this year’s PPMA Show in September it will demonstrate the vital role that checkweighers and table top weighers play in ensuring contents accuracy and compliance with weights and measures legislation in the food packaging process.
The event will take place from 25 to 27 September at the NEC in Birmingham.
Yamato will exhibit top semi-automatic dataweigh (TDSW) and SDW ranges, as well as I-Series checkweighers at the event.
The company will demonstrate how it solutions meet the industry package of food safety and fail-safe operation features, and will present the recently introduced changes to the measuring instrument directive (MID) regulations.
Yamato said it will present total weighing and checking solutions and how they can be implemented in all parts of the packaging process, including food processing sectors such as salads and fresh produce, IQF and frozen food, snacks, nuts and confectionery.

Yamato, which is a major manufacturer of multihead weighing technology, is engaged in the designing and building of customised multihead weighing solutions for different sectors such as fresh produce and frozen-food, as well as non-food and hardware.
The company produces checkweighers under I-series and J-series brands. The I-series checkweighers can be used for checkweighing frozen food, snack, confectionery and salad, as well as other industry applications.
Yamato produces multihead weighers in automatic or semi-automatic configurations, and are designed atweigh large quantities of different products at high speeds.
