West Pharmaceutical Services to exhibit Daikyo Plascap RUV vial closure at PDA Annual Meeting

West Pharmaceutical Services is set to exhibit the new Daikyo Plascap RUV one-step press-fit vial closure solution for serum applications at the Parenteral Drug Association (PDA) Annual Meeting in Orlando of Florida to be held between 20 March and 21 March.

Alternative to aluminum seals, Daikyo Plascap RUV is available in nested 13mm and 20mm vial sizes for small-batch filling.

Daikyo Plascap RUV closure features an integrated Flurotec laminated stopper and plastic cap system and is available in a ready-for-use and sterile format.

One-step and press-fit vial closure process incorporates integrates seamlessly into primary container fill/finish assembly processes, while nested Plascap formats match integrated solutions of nested vials for aseptic filling of nested glass vials

West will also showcase SmartDose wearable and subcutaneous injector with an integrated drug delivery system that incorporates human factors and usability testing to deliver patient-centric approach to self-administration.

SelfDose patient-controlled injector is an off-the-shelf delivery system that is designed for optimal patient administration.

The company will also exhibit NovaPure components to reduce particulate and maintain consistency of delivery.

In addition, the firm will showcase Daikyo Crystal Zenith containment and delivery systems, which serve as an alternative to glass and integrated lifecycle solutions.
