WaveGrip has introduced new multi-packing solution, WaveSafe, which offers enhanced hygiene protection for cans across the entire supply chain.
WaveSafe is claimed to be the world’s first covered flexible multi-pack carrier for cans.
The new multi-packing solution includes an additional layer of recyclable and photodegradable PE material that covers the top of the cans, allowing to offer protection from dust and debris.
WaveSafe holds capacity to link with the range of WaveGrip Colours, helping to maximize on-shelf impact and consumer appeal.
The multi-packing solution, which is compatible with all WaveGrip applicators, can be used by all beverage manufacturers ranging from smaller artisanal producers to high volume operators.
WaveGrip managing director Aaron McIvor said: “This is a major opportunity for WaveGrip and reaffirms we are the innovator in the development of beverage multi-packing solutions.
“WaveSafe is lightweight and efficient to apply and being available in the complete range of WaveGrip Colours, means it will create a new point of intrigue to consumers as well as boasting functional and environmental benefits.”
In July, WaveGrip has partnered with Palmer Canning Systems to provide its product solutions in the US market.
According to the agreement, the G1 and G2 variants of the WaveGrip applicator will be manufactured by Palmer Canning at its Lafayette plant in Indiana.
WaveGrip uses a lighter, stronger, recyclable, space-efficient and photodegradable substitute to enhance the features of multi-packaging canned beverages.
