Videojet Technologies introduces new laser marking system

Videojet Technologies, a provider of coding, marking and printing solutions, has introduced 3640 CO2 laser marking system.

The company developed the new CO2 laser system for processing complex codes at the highest speeds.

Videojet 3640 CO2 laser solution will provide increased speeds in data processing and communication, allowing customers to code and produce more products on the production line.

The new CO2 laser marking system holds capacity to produce the correct finish for the required mark, enabling customers to produce quality codes.

Videojet’s new marking system can process more than 1000 variable codes per minute with dot matrix and four lines of text in the tobacco industry.

The marking system will allow pharmaceutical customers to produce codes on 600 products per minute with 2D matrix and five lines of text.

Videojet’s system will enable high-speed beverage manufacturers to mark more than 80,000 bottles per hour with up to three lines of text.

The system’s high-speed marking capabilities will help manufacturers to code the required text onto products, irrespective of throughput.

The new 3640 system can cover up to 600mm marking field width, enabling to carry out certain wide web applications with minimum amount of lasers.
