UPM Raflatac has added Raflex MDO films to its existing range of high-performance conformable films.
Raflex MDO are machine direction oriented (MDO) polyolefin films offering conformability and squeezability on contoured containers.
They preserve the stiffness of a standard gauge clear polypropylene for consistent application and converting.
According to the company, the Raflex films are machine direction oriented (MDO) polyolefin films that offer high conformability and squeezability on contoured containers and the stiffness of standard gauge clear polypropylene for application and converting is also preserved.
The MDO film is also not susceptible to creasing and darting that distort graphics.
UPM Raflatac stated that the Raflex MDO films are ideal for thicker-wider bottles that offer two times the amount of curve (when compared to flat panel wall-to-wall squeezable containers) and those where a full squeeze at the bottom of the bottle is needed.
Available in both clear (removed clear on clear) and white with RP74 adhesive and both paper and film liners, Raflex MDO films are suitable for a variety of end-uses, including food, beverage and personal care.
The MDO films are come in both clear (removed clear on clear) and white with RP74 adhesive and both paper and film liners. Higher squeezability of the MDO films make it ideal for the films to be used in a wide range of applications including food, beverage and personal care.
UPM Raflatac Americas Product Development manager Bruce Ruppert said: "Our new Raflex MDO films offer exceptional on-press performance with enhanced conformability.
"Squeeze after squeeze, these clear and white materials are a perfect fit for keeping your branding intact throughout the product life cycle."
