UK’s glass packaging manufacturer Beatson Clark is planning to showcase its new beer bottle design at the upcoming BrewExpo America event.
The champagne-style 500ml Skittle bottle has been designed to meet the increased demand for eye-catching beer bottles from the growing craft beer sector.
Beatson said that the new bottle will complement similar 330ml bottle which is already in its general sale range.
As the event, which is scheduled to be held from 11-13 April in Washington, DC, US, Beatson Clark is also planning to promote its embossing service.
Beatson Clark export marketing manager Charlotte Taylor said: “Brewing is a very important part of our business, so BrewExpo America is now a major highlight in our calendar of trade shows.
“The craft beer sector is a perfect fit for us, as we offer small production runs and a flexible approach, and breweries are often surprised to find they can have customised beer bottles at such low volumes and cost.”
Beatson Clark said that breweries can commission an exclusive, bespoke design with embossing or can add embossing to a standard bottle to reduce the cost and minimum volume.
The firm recently unveiled newly designed 100ml bottle for BrewDog’s Hop Shot beer.
The 375ml embossed Champagne-style amber beer bottle has been produced for BrewDog's Abstrakt range.
Beatson Clark provides glass packaging solutions for various brands in the food, drink and pharmaceutical customers across the globe.
