UK-based Cases24 has invested in a latest generation Latitude PP1025 three color casemaker in a bid to enhance cases offering for customers.
Cases24 is trade only case supplier and offers glued cases in a variety of specifications to trade customers across the UK. It operates out of Board24’s Coalville site.
The investment, which is a result of increasing customer demand and market growth for cases, allows the firm to offer improved print and die cut capability with enhanced time consistency throughout peak demand.
The new Latitude PP1025 asemaker will feature Dücker pre-feeder and load former.
Cases24 managing director Alex Morris said: “This latest addition to the machinery portfolio at Cases24 will reinforce our position as the leading trade supplier of cases in the UK.
“This will underpin our offering by increasing capacity and reducing lead times, especially during peak demand. With an installation of September, this will be ready for our customers during the busiest time of year in 2018 Q4.”
Morris said that the firm’s trade customers operate within a dynamic marketplace while the investment allows the company to offer enhanced print and die-cut capability.
The new casemaker will complement the existing three Latitude casemakers which is creentlyt installed at the site. The machine is planned to be installed in Q3 2018.
Recently, Cases24 invested £600k for the installation of a new material handling line at its undisclosed site.
