Food processing and packaging solutions provider tna will introduce a new version of its on-machine seasoning application system at this year’s Anuga FoodTec event in Cologne, Germany, to be held between 20 March and 23 March.
The company will exhibit tna intelli-flav OMS 5.1 seasoning system, which is bundled with multiple new features.
It already produces intelli-flav OMS 5 system on-machine seasoning system, which offers both powder flavouring and liquid oil in a single drum to deliver consistent coverage and flavor to the product.
The system includes variable mass seasoning system with a vibratory weigh conveyor to directly control product, oil spray and flow of seasoning powder into the drum for improved coverage and flavor dispersion.
It will also present its recently launched intelli-flav CLS 5 closed loop slurry mixing and spraying system and new automated bulk fill system. The system can also be integrated with intelli-flav OMS 5 and intelli-flav MLS 3 seasoning systems.
tna intelli-flav CLS 5 is a slurry flavor spray system for extruded and other dry snacks. The machine’s under-surface mixing design will create a homogenous mix of slurry across the spraying process.
Features of the intelli-flav CLS 5 system include multiple recipe storage, adjustable refill rate, single reservoir with oil jacket and mat heating, powder feeder with loss in weight scale, liquid flow meter, recycle valve and slurry spray nozzles with full atomising air control.
Other solutions of the company being exhibited at the event include robag high-speed VFFS packaging system, roflo vibratory motion conveyer and FOODesign cryo-jet 5 ambient air cooling system.
The company offers equipment for materials handling, processing, cooling, coating, distribution, seasoning, weighing, packaging, inserting and labelling, metal detection, verification and end-of-line solutions.
In addition, the firm offers a variety of production line controls integration and SCADA reporting options, project management and training services.
