Sun Chemical exhibits new pigments and resin technologies at ABRAFATI 2017

Sun Chemical is exhibiting a range of new pigments and resin technologies at ABRAFATI event in Brazil.

The event is being held between 3 and 5 October in Sao Paulo.

At the event, the firm is exhibiting new Fineplus HM solvent-free 2K reactive hotmelt adhesive, which can be used for laminate furniture, metal, plastics, textiles and glass. It is available in amorphous, crystalline and liquid versions.

Burnock AC 2530 DIC polyol resin can be used for air dry curing systems/chemistries. It offers the same durability as heat-cured systems.

The company is also showcasing three new pigments, including Sunbrite Yellow pigment for architectural decorative coatings producers.

The yellow shade Perrindo Maroon 179 pigment provides modern and high chromatic metallic red finishes. It is compatible with water and solventborne systems.

Quindo Magenta 202 provides transparent and chromatic effect shades, and can be used for water and solventborne systems.

Sun Chemical is showcasing new Watersol AC-7505 resin, which can be combined with Benda-Lutz Splendal vacuum metalized flake pigments to produce advanced finishes for inlays, bezels, handles, trim and other automotive interior plastic parts.

The firm is also exhibiting Benda-Lutz Compal WS aluminum preparations for inks and coatings. They can be used in both water and solvent-based systems.

In addition, the company is exhibiting Epiclon epoxy resins for applications in the aerospace, automotive, electronics, tooling and adhesives industries.
