Pulp and paper manufacturer Stora Enso has introduced new portfolio of services and products to meet the packaging needs of online retailers.
The new e-TALES product suite has been developed to meet the requirements of end-consumers, online retailers and logistics departments.
The new suite also provides flexible solutions to the online retailers for increased branding exposure.
The e-TALES portfolio is comprised of three subcategories, including e-TALES packaging that provides packages for easy packing, open and returns.
Stora Enso’s e-TALES e-TALES utilities category includes solutions for logistical centers to help organize and structure their workflow.
The e-TALES services provide solutions for automation and intelligent packaging.
The e-TALES portfolio includes various features, including easy opening of boxes and simple sealing for returns, specialty protective packaging for suits and dresses, as well as easy carrying, and reusable gift boxes.
Stora Enso packaging solutions marketing and innovation SVP Björn Thunström said: "The rise of e-commerce has altered the traditional way of doing business. Through our e-TALES suite of products we can offer a set of packaging solutions produced to enhance consumer experience, enable branding possibilities, while also responding to the needs of the logistics chain.”
In May this year, Stora Enso unveiled upgraded Ensocoat carton board for luxury brands and graphical industry at this year’s Interpack event in Germany.
The company has added more whiteness and shade to the upgraded carton board, helping customers to provide enhanced look for the products.
Ensocoat is part of the firm’s portfolio of solid bleached sulphate (SBS) board, which is claimed to be the highest quality category in carton board.
