Gerhard Schubert is set to unveil its Cartonpacker at this year’s FachPack trade fair in Nuremberg, Germany.
The event will take place from 25 to 27 September.
Part of the firm’s new lightline range, the Cartonpacker is composed of a single module and handles carton packaging even in small space.
The company is offering new preconfigured and compact case packer in four variants for different types of cartons, including boxes, boxes with lids, wrap-around boxes or RSC cartons.
Based on the type of carton, the machine can be installed with a suitable closing tool and laid out for one product at a time, including bags, boxes, bottles or cans.
The lightline Cartonpacker is said to provide flexibility in terms of format variants for every type of carton and product.
Schubert’s Cartonpacker also supports customers with short delivery times and fast commissioning process. The installation is streamlined, as the machine is delivered as a unit.
The case packer can be used for packaging marzipan chocolate boxes into RSC folding boxes. It can process up to six different product formats, with a throughput of 125 boxes of chocolates per minute.
RSC boxes are erected, filled with chocolate boxes and closed in a single machine frame. The three F2 robots are placed at the centre of the machine.
Schubert’s lightline machine range is comprised of packaging machines for standard packaging tasks with preconfigured system components.
The lightline Pickerline is used for pick-and-place applications, while lightline Flowpacker is suitable for packaging in flow-wrap bags.
Schubert noted that its packaging machines enable manufacturers of all sizes to access robot-based automation or expand existing systems.
In August this year, Schubert unveiled a new atented heat-sealing technology for the the Flowmodul flow-wrapping component to pack heat-sensitive products even more gently in flow-wrap bags.
The patented heat-sealing technology enables in efficient packaging of heat-sensitive products in flow-wrap bags.
The company has designed a new heat-sealing technology specifically for highly sensitive products.
