RR Donnelley invests in two Xeikon 9800 presses

With a top web speed of 1.5 m/min, Xeikon 9800 includes variable data capabilities that enable to use for high-end direct marketing work applications.

Xeikon 9800 can be used to produce a wide substrate range, including coated paper, paperboard and synthetic media.

With better color consistency and professional color management, the press includes five color stations for spot color reproduction and security applications

RR Donnelley business development manager Mathijs Meijer said: “We want to create a seamless connected experience that delivers the right message, in the right way, on the right channel, at the right time – every time.

“The new installation will have an ROI that meets the company requirements. We have entered new markets like advertising and publishing and we are confident that others will follow.”
