RPC bpi protec has introduced a new stand-up non-laminate bag, X-EnviroPouch, to meet the growing demand for sustainable plastic packaging.
Designed as a cost-effective and environmentally-sustainable alternative to the traditional Doy sealed pouch, the new fully recyclable X-EnviroPouch expands bpi protec’s X-Range, which provides a variety of flexible packaging products.
Available in white or natural film, the X-EnviroPouch is made from PE. It is offered in a wider choice of pouch sizes with a gloss or matt print finish to help maximize brand image and on-shelf impact, RPC said.
RPC bpi protec sales director Sue Mohan said: “Our new X-EnviroPouch is an exciting development and is an integral part of our commitment to create products and develop appropriate working practices that help to protect the environment and support the requirements of the circular economy.
“We believe that with X-EnviroPouch we have created a modern consumer pack format and an environmentally-sustainable packaging solution, ideal for a wide variety of applications.”
RPC said that based on requirement, the bag can be offered with reclosable with a prestoclose seal or be supplied as film on the reel for the packer or filler to form themselves.
The firm plans to showcase the new X-EnviroPouch at the Packaging Innovations 2018 event planned to be held in the UK from 28 February to 01 Match.
RPC bpi protec is engaged in developing sustainable packaging for the brand owners serving different food, drink and specialist sectors.
