Norwegian dairy producer Tine has chosen RPC Bebo Plastik’s solutions to improve the on-shelf presence of its Kremgo cream cheese range.
RPC Bebo Plastik has combined its advanced in-mould label thermoforming (IML-T) and the in-house Bebo Print lid printing technology to produce improved packaging for the products.
Using the combined solutions, the packaging company has manufactured a new 88 x 88 mm square polypropylene tub for the recently launched Kremgo Lett lighter varieties. The RPC solutions have also ensured a special light protector to protect the cheese from exposure to light while sustaining its freshness and taste.
RPC Bebo Plastik stated that the IML-T process has the ability to apply the pre-printed labels to the packaging at the time of thermoforming process. This, it says results in the packaging to get an all-over decoration powered with high quality graphics to showcase effective branding.
Enhancing the packaging further is said to be the Bebo Print technique of printing the lid sheet. This is done before thermoforming with the entire area of the lid also covered.
The resulting packaging RPC Bebo Plastik says is eye-catching with appealing looks to make the product stand out among several other products in competitive retail markets. Additionally, the packaging firm says that the lightweight easy-to-handle design ensures consumer convenience at the highest levels.
Last week, another RPC Group subsidiary RPC Promens Consumer Kutenholz had helped food manufacturer Schwartauer Werke redesign the packaging for its Fruttissima fruit spreads.
RPC stated that the new-look Fruttissima fruit spreads pack comprises a black lid with a slimmed down neck and widened shoulders to give a more modern and sophisticated looks for the entire container.
