DS Smith Plastics’ business unit Rapak is set to showcase its Bag-in-Box beverage packaging and dispensing solutions at the International Beverage Dispensing Equipment Association (IBDEA) Conference and Product Fair in the US.
The event will take place between 21 and 25 in Las Vegas.
At the event, the company will exhibit the next generation EvacuStrip beverage bag with dip strip technology for Bag-in-Box formats.
EvacuStrip bags are said to offer an evacuation performance of more than 99.6% at any bag-in-box orientation, including vertically-situated boxes.
The bags integrate a rigid and rectangular evacuation assistance device called dip strip, which conveniently dispenses traditional post-mix syrup, as well as pulpy juice and highly viscous liquids.
Other features of EvacuStrip bags include durable and puncture resistant biaxially-oriented nylon laminated structure and improved filler efficiency.
In November 2017, Rapak North America launched EvacuStrip dip strip technology beverage bag for bag-in-box packaging formats.
The dip strip rigid and rectangular evacuation assistance device in the bag enables convenient dispensing of traditional post-mix syrup and evacuate pulpy juice or highly viscous liquids
EvacuStrip can be used with NSF approved PCSS+ Line-side connectors, enabling to provide the full-system solution for bag-in-box dispensing.
The company will also showcase DuraBev puncture resistant bag for bag-in-box, NSF approved PCSS line side connector and bag-in-box filling equipment for the beverage market.
Featuring an embossed film technology, DuraBev offers evacuation performance of more than 99%.
Rapak beverage sales director Walt Lawrence said: “We are looking forward to presenting our latest Bag-in-Box beverage packaging and dispensing solutions.
