US-based Vericool has secured a multi-year contract from subscription-based and meal delivery service Raised Real to provide its thermal packaging solution.
Under the deal, Raised Real will use Vericooler III recyclapostable packaging for shipping its organic and fresh meals to its customers.
The low-cost Vericooler III thermal packaging will keep food products cold from packaging to receipt.
Vericooler III, which is moisture-resistant, features a molded design to eliminate thermal edge loss and, allowing to reduce the required coolant and total packed weight.
The compostable insulation and recyclable coolers have been developed to reduce the use of expanded polystyrene (EPS) or Styrofoam packaging materials, which have negative impacts on the environment.

Based in Livermore of California, Vericool provides compostable and recyclable thermal packaging solutions to protect food, medicines and other temperature sensitive products.
Pharmaceutical, life and bio sciences, and animal health industries can use Vericooler to store vaccines and biological products at cool temperatures up to the critical 96-hour range.
