Tesco has selected Amcor Flexibles' Amcor PushPop easy-open vertical form, fill, seal flexible pack for the re-launch of its “Temptations” range of fruit and nut snacks.
Replacing a tub, the pack is being used for products including Chocolate Seed Mix, Blueberry Yoghurt & Raisin, Cranberry Raisin & Macademia and Fruit, Nut & Seed Mix. PushPop’s easy-open system, created during conversion, allows consumers to “push and pop” the pack open through the centre of he topside gusset. Reportedly ideal for both single use and for repeated opening and closing when fitted with a recloseable pressure-sensitive adhesive coated label, the bowl-shaped free-standing pack has a convenient wide opening.
The flexo printed Temptations packs are produced jointly by several UK Amcor Flexible sites. The company says the stackable, stand-up packs offer “excellent on-shelf differentiation”; the entire surface is printable, and gas flushable versions are available.
