Martin Dawe Brand Design was approached by United Tea Agencies of London to create the naming, branding and design concepts for a new tea product specifically aimed at the Catering and Foodservice market sectors.
MDBD researched the market sectors and created the ‘One Mug Tea’ brand, to exploit the growing trend in today’s consumer adoption of using mugs versus traditional tea cups. The ‘One Mug Tea’ branding idea simply mirrors consumer usage, but is powerfully portrayed by the large mug design. The London backdrop was used to reflect the brand’s heritage in London, and to exploit the long history of the Capital with the tea industry.
The ‘One Mug Tea’ brand has been well received by the Wholesale trade. The simple, effective design and powerful brand message shows customers the high quality of the tea product, whilst creating great impact on shelf. This in turn has successfully encouraged Wholesaler customers to trial the brand in their own outlets.
