Packaging solutions provider Multivac is planning to showcase its slicer line for the automated slicing and packing of products at the Anuga FoodTec 2018 in Germany.
At the event, which is scheduled to be held from 20-23 March 2018, the company plans to present its solution including the SL 800 slicer, a R 245 thermoforming packaging machine, a horizontal loader and a compact L 330 conveyor belt labeler.
Multivac has expanded its product range following the acquisition of the slicing division of VC999 in December 2017.
With the acquisition, the firm is able to offer complete slicing and packaging lines from one source to cover all output categories, Multivac said.
Featuring fully automatic central loading, the SL 800 slicer has high slicing speed of up to 800 slices per minute.
The Horizontal Loader is equipped to ensure that the sliced portions can be transferred efficiently from the slicer to the cavities of the thermoformed packs.
Designed for improved efficiency, the R 245 freely configurable packaging machine is available with a wide variety of equipment options to allow production of complex pack forms with high output.
Intended for labeling the packs of sliced products, the L 330 conveyor belt labeler is designed to meet the hygiene requirements in food processing companies.
Employing approximately 5,200 people, Multivac Group offers vacuum chamber machines, traysealers, thermoforming packaging machines, labellers, quality control systems, automation solutions and among others.
