Memjet’s OEM Partners will exhibit high-quality color label and packaging systems at the upcoming WestPack Conference, which is due to take place from February 6 to 8, 2018, at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California, US.
At the event, Color Label Solutions will introduce the Memjet-powered New Solutions Multi (NS Multi) corrugated, folding carton, and wide format box printer.
The NS Multi has the capacity to print on any paper-based package up to ½” thick and 43” wide, including pre-cut cartons, corrugated sheets, or folded carton stock.
It is claimed to make manufacturing customized, short-run, on-demand packaging easy and affordable.
Memjet said its solutions utilize water-based inks which are 100% free of reactive chemistries making them safe for use and better for the environment.
Memjet general manager Kim Beswick said: “Mintel reports that changes in consumer behavior — including growth in e-commerce, the desire for locally produced products and demand for sustainable products and packages — will drive packaging innovation in 2018.”
“At the heart of this innovation are digital inkjet printing solutions. The quality, speed and affordability of these solutions, combined with the creativity of Memjet’s OEM partners, are resulting in labeling and packaging solutions that keep pace with whatever consumers demand.”
Memjet develops digital inkjet technology which it claims will bring an unmatched combination of speed, simplicity, and affordability, transforming what is possible in color printing.
The company’s original technology platform, VersaPass, is an aqueous dye-based, single-pass digital print system that allows on-demand printing in several markets.
The DuraLink digital printing platform expands Memjet's speed, simplicity and affordability to a range of commercial, packaging and industrial printing markets.
