Medicine-On-Time has acquired blister card manufacturing assets from Canada-based Manrex for an undisclosed sum.
The acquisition will provide an additional capability to Medicine-On-Time's new manufacturing facility outside Tampa of Florida, and expand the firm’s business into Canada and other markets.
Manrex will continue to distribute a full line of medication management products to its customers, including the products produced by Medicine-On-Time.
In addition, Manrex will supply the core Medicine-On-Time multi-dose color coded blister card system in Canada.
Medicine-On-Time co-chairman and CEO Guy Bryant said: "This transaction, and the new ongoing relationship with Manrex, LTD is a very positive step for Medicine-On-Time, extending our geographic reach, and also allowing us to expand our product line of medication adherence products in the US.

Medicine-On-Time offers medication synchronization and multi-dose pharmaceutical packaging software solutions, as well as color-coded calendar cards for compliance packaging.
Manrex provides medication packaging, distribution and adherence systems for community, acute and long-term care settings.
The company’s product portfolio includes medication carts and pill crushers and pharmacy automation solutions.
In addition, the company offers a portfolio of technology based applications for end users in the community.
