Marchesini Group is set to launch new Dumek brand for cosmetic packaging market at the Pack Expo Las Vegas in the US.

The event will take place from 25 to 27 September.

Dumek is the firm’s new brand, which manufactures processing machines such as turbo emulsifiers for mixing make-up, cleansers, hair dyes, toothpaste and shaving products

Dumek brand includes machinery products such as Turbo-Mek 150, MA 400 and others.

The MA 400 is a continuous motion horizontal cartoner, which was developed based on the BA 400 cartoner.

The cartoner has been developed for high-speed packing of all product types for the pharmaceutical and cosmetic markets. It can be used to produce blisters, bottles and vials, rigid and squeezable tubes, sachets and trays.

With multiple control functions, the machine offers high speed output and includes new operator interface called easy door.

Turbo-Mek 150 is a vaccum turbo-emulsifier developed to process liquid and creamy products for the cosmetic industry.

It is specifically designed to be used for emulsions such as cream and milk products, as well as serums, oils and balms, gels and lotions.

Special versions of these machines were developed to process other products such as make up, suppositories, hair dyes, toothpastes, mud products and shaving creams.

MA 400 is a perfect solution for high-speed packing of all product types (blisters, bottles and vials, rigid and squeezable tubes, sachets and trays) for the pharmaceutical and cosmetic markets.

Marchesini Group USA executive vice president Roger Toll said: “Figures tell us that the American Beauty and Personal care market was worth 92.3 billion dollars in 2016.

“This means a “slice” worth 21% of the worldwide market: an impressive percentage that is expected to rise even further to 111 billion dollars by 2021.”
