Makro Labelling UK now offer Complete Lines

Having recently secured agency agreements to represent Matrix Srl – Bottling Technology and All Glass Srl, who manufacture air conveyors, palletiser and depalletisers in both conventional formats and robots, Makro Labelling UK is now able to supply complete lines in the UK for the Wine, Spirit, Water, Soft drinks, Beer and Cider markets.

Makro will continue to offer the Aetna range of shrinkwrappers, carton packers and pallet stretchwrappers as their preferred supplier for the complete end of line.

Richard Portman, Managing Director of Makro Labelling commented on the new agency agreements, "For some months now we have been researching all the available equipment on the market capable of interfacing with the range of Makro Labelling machines and the timing of this announcement coincides with the new appointments to the Makro UK team in recent months. I intend to add further to our Service capability in the coming weeks, as this part of our business has been doubling year on year since we established Makro in the UK four years ago."

Richard continued, "Matrix is very similar to Makro, it was established in 2004 in Gattatico in Reggio Emilia and supplies a complete range of Rinsers, Fillers, Cappers, Carbonators and Warmer/Coolers with bottle and pack conveyors. The heart of the line, the filler blocs, includes both hot fill and ambient filling for non-carbonated beverages for Glass and PET bottling lines and Matrix also offer their electro-pneumatic filling valve technology for carbonated waters, CSD’s, beers and RTD products. Additionally, Matrix also manufactures a range of can fillers.

All Glass Srl has, for many years, been an industry leader for conveying systems and de-palletising and re-palletising machinery for the glass manufacturing industry. The equipment has been adapted to suits the needs of the beverage industry and there are a number of reference installations in the UK. "

Regarding the arrangement with Aetna UK, Richard said, "We have worked closely with Aetna and consider them to be one of the best suppliers of pallet stretchwrappers together with their excellent range of shrinkwrappers and carton packers under the Dimac and Prasmatic badge. Aetna UK also has an excellent after sales and support network in the UK very similar to our own."

In the few weeks since the agency agreements have been signed, considerable interest has been shown by UK bottlers for the equipment and the first orders are due to be announced in the coming weeks.

Concluding Richard said, "We have taken time to ensure the agencies we have secured are a perfect fit with the Makro range and our company ethos and we are all very confident about the future."
