KHS said it will showcase the future of filling and packaging systems under the motto Technology 4.0 at the drinktec trade fair for the beverage and liquid food industry in Germany.
The trade fair is scheduled to take place in Munich from September 11 to 15, 2017.
KHS, which will present its new systems for all container segments, said the entire branches of industry, from small craft brewers to large water bottlers, can find new ideas for sustainable and effective processes.
The company created PET packaging for bottling water. KHS, together with its customers, develops lightweight bottles with various characteristics that are suitable for production and logistics.
KHS is also showcasing a space-saving system and several packaging concepts at the event.
The company offers small- and medium-sized bottlers technology and knowledge that were effective at the highest level.
The established technology of can and keg fillers has been integrated into new systems for smaller quantities.
KHS said it will showcase a compact solution for labeling to meet the lower capacity segment needs.
The company said it will also provide insights into disruptive and sustainable systems for filling and packaging in the food and non-food sectors.
KHS chairman of the executive management board Matthias Niemeyer said: "Technology 4.0 means that innovative strength and future viability continue to characterize our systems and services.
“The focus of attention here is on the innovative use of digitization as well as new concepts throughout the entire production process.”
