JIM BEAM SELECTS REXAM EDITIONS FOR LIMITED EDITION WORLD CUP CANS
Rexam, a leading global beverage can manufacturer, has collaborated with Jim Beam Germany to produce limited edition World Cup cans.
The celebratory designs, available on Jim Beam Bourbon & Cola 330ml, use Rexam’s innovative Editions technology, allowing multiple designs of the same label to be printed simultaneously on one pallet. Targeting football fans and capitalising on the passion for their national team, the cans show silhouette images of four German football players, along with common German football phrases.
Aiming to encourage consumer engagement during the tournament, the cans also offer a ‘collect and win’ promotion with a red coloured tab showing a unique promotional engraving underneath.
Sabine Milewski, Marketing Director Beam Deutschland says: "We chose to work with Rexam because of its unique Editionstechnology, making our vision of four different can designs possible. The World Cup is a huge occasion and we’re delighted to be part of it with such an innovative can."
The Jim Beam cans are now available to consumers in Germany, stocked across all major German retailers. The launch is supported by a wider marketing campaign, including POS activation.
