Swedish distiller Hernö Gin has selected UK-based independent corrugated packaging producer Cepac to provide new gift pack solution for its bottle of London dry gin and two bottles of premium tonic.
As part of this effort, Cepac has used its Arcwise concept, which has been developed and patented by SCA, to get a curved shaped packaging design with shelf appeal.
The new design has been created by the Arcwise team at SCA in collaboration with Cepac and Hernö Gin, Cepac said.
Hernö Gin communications head Maria Åman said: “We take care in crafting our artisanal gin, distilling it in hand-hammered copper stills with hand-selected botanticals and for our gift pack we wanted craftsmanship to match.
“Cepac and the Arcwise range matched our commitment to creativity and innovation, so were the perfect partners for our exclusive range.”
Cepac has rights to innovative curved corrugated Arcwise range to offer enhanced printing and cutting solutions in the UK.
Cepac group sales and marketing director Steve Moss said: “The Arcwise range has been a hit with FMCG customers such as Hernö Gin as they look for shelf appeal.
“The design and graphics options as well as the rigidity and strength properties of the range make it ideal for drinks brands in particular.”
Cepac said that by curving the pack seamlessly, it can digitally print high quality graphics without warping or dead corner space.
