GEA to exhibit food processing technologies at FoodTec 2018

GEA, a global equipment and process technology provider for the food industry and other industries, is set to exhibit processing and packaging technology for food industry at Anuga FoodTec event in Germany.

The event will take place from 20 to 23 March 2018 in Cologne.

At the event, the company will exhibit MaxiFormer rotating drum concept for meat forming, CombiPlus solution for the production of pasta filata cheese, the S-Tech spiral freezer with new features and Hilge Hygia H high-pressure pump for use in dairies.

GEA MaxiFormer is a rotative drum forming machine for high capacity formed poultry, pork or meat replacement products.

GEA S-Tec spiral freezer, which can handle capacities up to seven tons per hour, includes fully welded food zone structure assembly, open profiles, fully welded modular floor configuration option and effective cleaning-in-place options.

The freezer, along with GEA refrigeration systems, will serve as economic solution for food application.

Combi Plus solution is suitable for producing various types of pasta filata cheese, including pizza-cheese or scamorza producing from milk and commercial curds or mixtures of both.

GEA Hilge Hygia H high-pressure pump can withstand system pressures up to 64 bar for filtration processes in the dairy industry, helping to handle liquids and homogeneous air or gas-containing media.

Available in two sizes, the pump will deliver a volume flow of up to 200 cubic metres with a maximum delivery head of 70m.

The company will also exhibit GEA IO service tool, which can be used for the entire range of separators and decanters.

Earlier this month, GEA also introduced the latest generation of aseptic filling technology for the beverage industry.

The new Fillstar CX EVO system can be used for different types of products ranging from to still aseptic beverages and vice-versa.
