Flint Group’s business unit Xeikon is exhibiting its Folding Carton Suite at this year’s Interpack event in Germany.
At the event, which will take place from 4 to 10 May in Düsseldorf, the company will present full folding carton production solution based on its Xeikon 3500 digital press.
The five-color Xeikon 3500 digital press for folding carton applications feature a broad color gamut range, enabling it to be used for applications in cosmetics, food, beverages, and pharma segments.
At the event, Xeikon will exhibit folding carton applications at true 1200 dpi print resolution on its B2 sheet size or larger.
Under the suite, the Xeikon X-800 digital front-end with fully automated workflow is said to handle job preparation, enabling to provide enhanced print quality.
Flint Group’s sheetfed solutions division will also showcase low migration inks and coatings, as well as printing solutions for food packaging.

Xeikon is engaged in the development and producing of web-fed digital colour presses for label and packaging applications, as well as document printing and commercial printing applications.
In addition, the firm produces computer-to-conventional plate (CtCP) solutions for the commercial offset printing market, and digital platemaking systems for the flexographic market.
