Eukalin Special Adhesives has joined the Paperboard Packaging Council (PPC), the North American association for paperboard packaging manufacturers and their suppliers.
Founded in 1904, Eukalin is a family owned and operated adhesives manufacturer with headquarters near Aachen, Germany.
Currently in its third generation of family leadership, the firm supplies quality adhesives to the folding carton, corrugated, envelope, bookbinding, and post-press graphic arts industries in 127 countries across the world. Eukalin has U.S. locations in Philadelphia and Arlington, Tennessee.
With its in-house R&D and extensive customer service, Eukalin strives to provide its customers with both flexibility and innovative solutions, such as gluing on poly and aqueous coated surfaces eliminating the need for knockouts. The firm’s intensive, long-term cooperation with suppliers and partners allows it to adapt quickly to customer requirements.
Eukalin also believes in partnering with customers and deeply understanding their needs and requirements. Each customer receives an in-depth personal consultation, assuring excellent handling of orders as they move through the processes of development and lab analysis, manufacture, on-time delivery, and on-site support.
“On behalf of PPC’s Board of Directors and membership, I extend a warm welcome to Eukalin,” said Ben Markens, PPC president. “I hope they take advantage of the services and vast network of industry leaders that PPC has to offer.”
“We are thrilled to become a member of PPC and to get more involved with the North American folding carton community,” said Rick Pallante, technical sales manager with Eukalin. “Building relationships within the industry is key to us. After all, when we get together as an industry to share knowledge and best practices, everyone wins.”
A vital source of technical education for PPC’s folding carton converters, supplier members often serve as thought leaders at educational programs such as PPC’s Folding Carton Boot Camp, share their expertise through multimedia presentations at biannual conferences, and present their newest products and services during special events—ultimately building deep relationships with customers and prospects throughout the carton industry.
Additionally, PPC members enjoy access to exclusive industry benchmarking reports, studies, webinars, and legislative updates. They can also attend informative conferences and training sessions and participate in publicity-generating programs such as TICCIT and the North American Paperboard Packaging Competition.
