DS Smith Tecnicarton and Plastic 7 have developed an industrial packaging for automotive industry, which enables the arrival of the piece to its destination in perfect conditions.
The new industrial packaging product, Tecnipack container, has been designed with an expanded capacity.
The new container, which can be folded, will help customers to accommodate more number of pieces.
DS Smith has also provided different opening options for the container to access parts, as well as enhanced manipulation process to support operators.
By designing and testing several prototypes, the new container with metal sheets has been validated at the bottom, while the PP cover system with three-quarters has been validated for any pallet on the market.
The new container enables to place the pieces in their natural position, in addition to protecting them. It will also help to prevent from touching by the visible part, helping to arrive the destination in perfect condition.

Silenta has selected DS Smith for new packaging to raise brand awareness, increase sales and meet sustainability goals.
Based at one of its PackRight Centres, DS Smith’s graphic designer has created a new visual image for the packaging with new graphics and colour palette, enabling the product to look more effectively.
