Constantia Flexibles is set to showcase its packaging solutions at the international World of Private Label trade show in the Netherlands.
The event will be carried out between 16 and 17 May in Amsterdam.
At the event, the company will exhibit flexible packaging solutions for pet food, meat, fish and processed fruit and vegetables.
The company will present Ofen-Fleischkäs aluminum foil tray and lid system, which provides flexibility to prepare meat dishes.
According to the company, the aluminum foil tray and lid system allows convenient preparation of a range of different Fleischkäs’ recipes directly in the packaging.
Constantia will also exhibit wet food pouches and alufoil container systems, which can be suitable for packaging of pet food.
Constantia Flexibles processed meat and alufoil containers sales SVP Peter Wallach said: “Demographic change and urbanization influence the type of packaging we need for the food we consume on a daily basis. Convenience products from the supermarket are becoming increasingly popular.”
In March, Constantia Flexibles had acquired Italian dairy lidding company, TR Alucap, which was reviously owned by two private equities Gradiente SGR and La Finanziaria Trentina.
The Italian dairy lidding firm produces aluminum die-cut lids and plastic films for regional dairies and global food manufacturing companies.
Constantia’s European plants produce various packaging products, including yoghurt lids, liquid pouches and stick pack laminates for yoghurts and yoghurt banderoles.
With 56 sites in 24 countries, Constantia provides flexible packaging and label solutions for the customers in the food, pharma and label industries.
