Comexi has completed its participation in the Interpack 2017, claiming to have clinched new business successes as well as showcasing its innovations for the flexible packaging industry.
The company has also claimed to have closed on trade agreements without revealing the specifics.
The Spanish machinery supplier presented its latest flexographic presses including the Comexi F2 ML, its offset and laser technologies and the holographic applications provided by Comexi Futura laminator.
Comexi F2 ML is said to yield the highest quality with high speeds and large repeats as per the company. Another flexographic press, it brought for the fair was the innovative offset technology dubbed Comexi CI8 press.
Comexi marketing director David Centelles said: “It has been a really successful trade fair. We received lots of top-quality visits from all around the world, specifically from different European countries, from Russia, South-East Asia and South America.”
At its booth in the packaging trade fair, Comexi also showcased its flexo printed reels, solvent-less lamination samples and laser samples. Along with these, the holographic applications provided by its Russian collaborator Uniflex received wide demand, said the company.
Comexi used the event to launch its new development in its slitting line through the Comexi S1 MS. Designed for big outputs reels, the Comexi S1 MS range machine achieves excellent results in jobs that need working with and non-stretchable materials at high speeds, stated the Spanish firm.
Comexi CEO Jeroen van der Meer said: “Over these past 60 years, Comexi has been a pioneer of new trends and solutions for the printing and converting flexible packaging industry.
“The aim of develop ultimate solutions has lead us to be one of the main suppliers and, most important, an innovative partner, working side by side with our customers.”
