Colourful encouragement

Sun Chemical's development of a European Colour Programme, designed to help print buyers and their graphics suppliers communicate in a precise colour language, has been boosted by a special visit by the leading ink manufacturer's top international management.

The Sun Chemical site at Yate, in the UK, was visited by ceo Henri Dyner and recently appointed group president Wes Lucas. They gave their full backing to the European Colour Programme, which offers substantial benefits to customers, not only in flexible packaging but across all printing processes.

With its Imagecheck on-screen colour communication system, supported by the PressChek 2000 spectrophotometer for colour control, Sun claims to offer for the first time the ability to communicate and produce accurate colour standards on a global basis. Field trials are currently under way, and the programme will be demonstrated at Ipex in April 2002.
