The Chesapeake Corp has completed an expansion of its plant at Oss, in The Netherlands, which prints patient information leaflets for pharmaceutical and healthcare products. The project has nearly doubled the size of the plant and increased production capacity by 35 per cent.

Inprint has installed a Mark Andy Scout label press at its UK headquarters in Ashford. The six colour press has a 10in web width and is fitted with full UV curing. In addition to conventional self adhesive labels, it will be used to produce Inprint’s t:ext leaflet labels.

Singapore based ink manufacturer Qualinks has taken delivery of a FlexiProof 100 from RK Print Coat. Another ink producer, also in Singapore is expected to purchase three or four systems.
