Brazilian converter Totalflex has invested in Comexi equipment including in a 8 colors Comexi F2 MC flexo press, a Comexi DUAL laminator, a Comexi EVO laminator and a Comexi LCR clean roller system.
The new equipment will complement the existing Comexi’s flexographic press, which was purchased by the Brazilian firm in 2002.
Comexi Brazil sales manager André Perez said: “Our long business relationship has been a success, Totalflex was our first client that bought the first flexographic press totally developed and built in Brazil.”
Totalflex currently operates five Comexi flexo presses which are installed in its undisclosed production plant as well as other Comexi technologies including laminators, slitters and logistic peripherals.

Totalflex acquired the Comexi F2 MC press to meet the printing needs of medium and long runs in the flexible packaging field.
The Comexi F2 MC, which shares ergonomic and accessibility advances developed in F4 and F2 presses, allows print width from 870mm to 1270mm, in eight and ten colors.
With a maximum repeats of 800mm, the press comprises the most advanced electronic systems designed to offer enhanced print quality, even at high speeds and printing on different substrates, from plastic film to paper or laminated films.
The Comexi DUAL is a hybrid machine designed for use in kind of applications in the flexible packaging. It allows converters to use different technologies including solvent and water based adhesives and lacquers, solventless adhesives, coldseals and one color printing jobs.
Ideal for solution for short and long runs, the Comexi EVO laminator allows configurations with simple shaftless or “turret” type unwinders and rewinders to meet the different production needs.
Additionally, Comexi LCR is an anilox and cylinder-cleaning system designed to provide in-depth and fast cleaning using laser technology.
