Bosch Packaging Technology said it will showcase new developments from its portfolio for liquid pharmaceuticals at Interpack 2017.
The company will be showcasing ALF 5000 vial version, a liquid pharmaceuticals filling and closing machine, return air filter for potent products, KLV 1360, an inspection device at intepack.
ALF 5000 vial version is a production-scale filling and closing of liquid pharmaceuticals. The new machine is claimed to be 100% in-process control. It has a carrying rake transport system, which gently handles the products.
Bosch claims that the machine has an output of up to 600 containers per minute and can be integrated with different barrier systems.
The company will showcase a newly developed return air filter for highly potent products. The new machine joins the isolator technology and open Restricted Access Barrier Systems (RABS), closed RABS.
Expanding its filled containers inspection product line, Bosch is introducing the KLV 1360. The machine uses vacuum leak detection of rigid containers and it is claimed to integrate high inspection accuracy with maximum output.
The new machine can complete fully automated solutions for high-volume leak detection and laser-based headspace analysis (HSA).
Apart from these products, Bosch will also showcase the semi-automated multiple system atrophy (MSA) platform. The platform will be used in the assembly of multi-part single-use auto injectors or pens, used in the treatment of autoimmune diseases or in case emergencies.
The compact and hygienic design of the MSA platform is claimed to be suited in assembling small volumes between 5 and 15 pieces per minute. With standardises modules, the platform can be upgraded for large batches and can also be fully automated.
