Bosch Packaging Technology is set to showcase advanced vertical packaging solutions for Latin American food firms at the Andina Pack trade show in Colombia.
The event will take place from 7 to 10 November in Bogota.
At the event, the company will exhibit an upgraded version of its SVE 2520 high-speed continuous motion vertical bagger with FVS 3061 auger filler unit.
Designed to produce coffee bags, the SVE 2520 vertical bagger can produce up to 200 bags per minute with tight seals.
The new system features Allen Bradley controls to integrate production monitoring systems, in addition to simplifying training and maintenance.
Bosch also manufactures SVE 3620, which is a larger vertical bagger that can produce wider bags up to 380mm.
The company will also exhibit Woodman P3c continuous motion snack food bagmaker, which can pack plantain chips at 100 bags per minute.
Woodman bagmakers were developed for the packaging of salted and savory snacks, as well as other dry and free-flowing foods.
The P3c bagmaker features the Woodman-exclusive programmable stripping and product clamp and settler, in addition to patented technology that helps to offer quality end seals free of product debris.
Bosch operates manufacturing facility at São Paulo for the local customers.
