Ardagh Group, Glass – North America, a division of Ardagh Group announced that its Pevely glass manufacturing facility in Missouri and Sapulpa glass manufacturing facility in Oklahoma fachieved FSSC 22000 food safety system certification.
Ardagh Group, Glass – North America quality vice president Mike Fair said: "FSSC 22000 Certification is a direct reflection of Ardagh Group's commitment to driving continuous improvement in food safety management systems within our facilities for the safety and well-being of both our customers and consumers.”
In order to achieve certification, the Pevely and Sapulpa facilities were required to demonstrate they had effectively implemented a robust food safety management system based on FSSC 22000 requirements.
With these recent achievements, there are now a total of eight Ardagh Group glass manufacturing facilities in North America that are FSSC 22000 certified. In addition to Pevely and Sapulpa, Ardagh Group's Burlington, Wis.; Dunkirk, Ind.; Henderson, N.C.; Lincoln, Ill.; Port Allegany, Pa.; and Ruston, La., facilities are FSSC 22000 Certified.
