Aptar Food + Beverage has collaborated with Karma to provide push cap technology for the personalized and fortified nutrition market.
Karma is the maker of the Karma Push Cap technology, which is made of recyclable and FDA compliant materials.
Aptar will leverage its global presence and diverse technology platform and application experience to enhance the potential of push cap for use in the value-add convenient packaging area.
The Karma push cap is a delivery system that facilitates portion control and enables to separate ingredients that are not shelf-stable.
The closure solution is provided with a delivery system, which holds capacity to infuse either powdered or liquid ingredients into any substance.
Aptar beverage global market development president Jean-Marc Philbois said: “Karma fits well within Aptar’s mission of delivering value-added solutions that improve consumers’ lives worldwide.

The push cap was first launched in 2011 as the breakthrough component of natural and nutrient-enhanced beverage known as Karma Wellness Water.

In September this year, Aptar Food + Beverage has unveiled new Olympian closure, which is designed to allow consumers to quickly access the product without the need to unscrew the cap.
