Versatile Packagers all set to start new facility

US-based contract packaging company Versatile Packagers plans to open the doors to a new 85,000sqft facility in July 2011.

The company has recently held a groundbreaking ceremony for the new building in Florida. The company’s current operation is in Tampa and will remain open in addition to the new facility. The new operation expects to have about 50 employees, many of which will come from the existing Tampa location.

Versatile Packagers partner and vice president Rick Shave said the company plans to bring more employees on board as the growth progresses.

In addition to offering contract packaging services, Versatile Packagers utilises its warehouse space for product storage, fulfillment and distribution. With their warehouse management and order processing system, they enable their customers to manage their inventory effectively and efficiently. With the new facility opening, their services are expected to further exceed customer expectations.
