US-based Twin Rivers Paper Company has expanded its line of specialty packaging papers to address the needs of quick serve restaurants and the food service industry.
Twin Rivers packaging product segment manager Jim Fagan said the company’s machine flexibility, experience in barrier chemistry and coating processes allows to create tailored paper solutions for their packaging applications.
The company’s packaging papers are engineered for applications involving exposure to grease, heat and moisture and used for bags, pouches, wraps and liners in food service applications and interleavers and liners in food processing applications.
The two primary packaging brands, Acadia and Bladepak are available in a range of grease resistance, options in wet strength content, light to heavy basis weights, and choices in recycled and fiber certification.
Acadia, an uncoated machine finished paper is available in a basis weight range of 15-75 lbs and Bladepak C1S coated paper is available in a basis weight range of 35-73 lbs.
Both brands perform well in secondary processes such as coating, waxing, foil and film laminating, and metallizing.
