Germany-based packaging equipment maker Theegarten-Pactec has introduced a new equipment for wrapping small chocolate pieces and a jelly product.
The CWM packaging machine with diagonal envelope folding station is capable of processing small chocolate products with six different folding variations. The machine has a capacity range of 500 cycles per minute.
The machine can be modified to various wrapping styles with the simple replacement of modules. The equipment currently offers five wrapping styles: double-twist wrapping, top twist, side twist, top clip and bunch.
Theegarten-Pactec said the MCH can package up to 1,000 pieces per minute. The machines’s three-part, rotating lower punch at the transfer point in the packing head enables the processing of larger product tolerances.
The company said that the MCH can also be used for for hard candies and chocolate coated articles. The device has protected twist, side twist and foil wrap capability in addition to the double-twist wrap function.
