The US-based startup packaging firm The Can Van is a mobile canning service that helps local breweries to receive benefits of beer packaging without the money, space or labor needed to start their own line.
The firm offers contract packaging for a number of firms with a minimum order of 100,000 cans; and offers labeling in a similar way to glass bottle labeling, with nearly 36 cans per minute.
The Can Van is said to have utilized manufacturing research, design, marketing and integration firm Wild Goose Engineering’s expertise in beer packaging.
The Can Van’s line canning line uses machines such as MC-50 manual canning unit, automated two-head MC-100, and MC-500 that consists of two MC-250s working in tandem.
The firm said that it decorates the customers’ can using Model 310 pressure-sensitive labeler from Advent Machine; and the cans are offered by Ball.
