Temkin International buys new fusion flexographic printing press

Flexible film packager Temkin International of Payson has ordered a Fusion flexographic printing press from Paper Converting Machine of Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Temkin senior vice president Lynn Abplanalp said factors that were important to the comapny were the green features and the fact that the press is designed, assembled and serviced by an American company.

Abplanalp noted that rapid setups and quick wash-downs with the eight-color, 59-inch, gearless, sleeved press facilitate shorter runs creating a better price break on the small jobs. The Fusion has a PrintReady automatic impression memory system.

Temkin makes stock and custom flexible film packaging in Payson, Miami, Burlington, Ontario, and Bogota, Colombia, for floral, food and stationery applications.
