Germany-based Storopack has announced the launch of its new protective air cushion packaging Airplus Bubble, which serves as an alternative to off-the-shelf bubble wrap and is used to wrap products.
The protective packaging material is manufactured on compact machines and includes a convenient smart-tear-off perforation, which allows the packer to divide the cushioning wrap intuitively without searching for the perforation.
According to Storopack, for the wrapping of small-sized items, the material Airplus Bubble offers narrow individual sections and prevents protective packaging waste. A single section contains two rows with seven round air chambers each.
The material also offers advantages for the recipient, when compared to conventional bubble wrap. With one cut, the air escapes leaving only a small amount of film for disposal and the packs air chamber layout ensures maximum use of the wrap.
