SteriPack, an Irish based company, announced the opening of its first North American facility in Lakeland, Florida.
The new plant, which is ISO 13485 Certified, manufactures products in an ISO class 8 clean room following its sister companies path in Ireland, Poland and Malaysia to serve the North and South American markets, according to packworld.com
SteriPack president Tony Paolino said that they were exploring several options in the US for the last three years to find the proper situation and location.
"The facility is a ‘first in class’ operation and draws on the nearly 20 years of experience that SteriPack has manufacturing converted products and providing contract manufacturing services in a class 8 clean room." Paolino said.
The company offers pouches, header bags, steribags, die cut lids and rollstock, contract manufacturing and many other innovative packaging products dedicated to the medical industry.
According to the company, the new facility is positioned to provide converted products in Europe, Asia and also America utilizing the same quality offering continuity supply to global customers using flexible packaging around the globe.
