SodaStream, a soft drinks maker in Israel, has been warned of legal action by Coca-Cola over using soft drinks cans and bottles in its efforts for making a comeback.
SodaStream has used big cages containing used soft-drink cans and bottles at several places across the globe, to which Coca-Cola has shown a strong reaction.
According to SodaStream chief executive officer Daniel Birnbaum, a lot of energy goes into the production of cans and bottles annually, as recycling is just not enough.
"Billions of beverage bottles and cans end up in landfills and dumps each year, and it’s choking the environment." added Birnbaum.
SodaStream is reported to have gained from the campaign, with Walmart recently agreeing to sell the brand.
