Screen announces partnership with Italian labels and packaging distributor

Screen announced that it has signed a partnership agreement with REM, an experienced reseller of graphic arts technology.

The agreement comprises the distribution of the Screen Truepress Jet L350UV Label Printer within the Italian region.

REM is an exclusive agent of PRATI and Weigang Machinery for the Italian market and has been engaged in every aspect of the labels and packaging markets. Playing an important role in the market, REM represents and distributes machinery, equipment and products from companies of renowned international prestige.

“The new partnership will guarantee Screen fast and skilled technical support as well as commercial support from an experienced team,” declares Ettore Maretti, REM Solutions Manager, “For REM, the introduction of the prestigious Screen digital press is a noteworthy addition to its portfolio. Inkjet technology has gained huge interest in recent years so this is a significant partnership for us.”

The Truepress Jet L350UV enables customers to increase production speeds whilst delivering the high-quality print customers demand. The 50 metres-per-minute running speed of the Truepress Jet L350UV, combined with a printing width of up to 322mm and the ability to print on materials from 90 to 350 microns, enables the press to deliver an output of 16.1 metres2 per minute.

Maintenance is greatly streamlined with an automated head cleaning function, which significantly reduces the timescale and effort required to keep the press in prime condition. In addition, the integration of the Truepress Jet L350UV with PRATI label finishing will increase the efficiency in label production as a total digital label printing solution.

Maretti concludes, “Screen is a leader in the field of inkjet digital printing and, with the Truepress Jet L350UV, has become a reference company in manufacturing digital presses for self-adhesive labels. We’re looking forward to a fruitful relationship!”
