Italian machines manufacturer Sacmi is all set to launch its new 'total inspection’ solutions at Drinktec 2013 taking place from 16–20 September in Munich and K 2013 to be held from 16–23 October 2013 in Düsseldorf.
Sacmi will introduce its CHS system, which is said to be an evolution of the existing CHS series for the inspection of plastic and aluminium caps.
With the new CVS360 module, the machine allows true ‘all-round’ cap control, including side walls as well as tamper band slit profile.
Sacmi Inspection and Quality Control Systems Division will exhibit the PVS 2B PET preform inspection series.
The solution belongs to the PVS machine family and can sample-test no less than 1,200 preforms an hour.
The machine too can be improved with a selection of Sacmi-patented systems that inspect the bottle body or underside, the mouth and thread of the finish or the size of the finish itself through a system of high definition cameras.
